Scroosels are scrooks that fly endlessly across the oceans of Planet Scremp. They wear their history on their sleeve, or rather, their neck. They are decorated in thin multicolor lines, colored based on their predominant emotion at the time.

Neck

Theories abound about the purpose of the necks. One theory posits that scroosels with more varied colors are more indicative of having lived a full life, and thus getting more mates. Another says it's a measure of sanity and a way to warn others of potential illness.
